Downloaded the latest version, when you run an error "deltaengine.net connection timed out".
Ping deltaengine.net[217.91.31.182] = packet loss 100%
please help

deltaengine.net is not responding to ping requests so this is normal.
Please check the ContentServerPort in \Documents\DeltaEngine\DeltaEngine.Editor\Settings.xml
This should be either 800 for the stable release or 900 for the nightly build.
Also check that these ports are not blocked by a firewall or other filter software. |

If you want to ping, you can use test.deltaengine.net, but as Hendrik said ping is currently not enabled on DeltaEngine.net (just port 80 for web, 800 for the service and 900 for the nightly service)
