This has worked before (pretty much since the beginning of the new website a year ago), but there were always some minor issues with some links pointing still to http instead of being relative. Now once you start with https anywhere on the website or forum, you will stay in that mode and can safely use the site, login, etc.

Once you login you will land on https, but you are free to use http if you like, it is up to you. Obviously we recommend https as it is more secure, especially when you login and use your account data, API key, forum, etc.
