Hi Ben,

I am really getting into this engine and I can't seem to get my content project to load. I created a project named TankRacer in the ContentManager and everything went smooth. I tried to load it in my game and no dice. If I set it to any of the projects that come with the ContentManager I can use that content, but not my own. A quick run down of how to link my game to a content would be appreciated.

Thx,
Matt

Hey Matt,

Not sure what your problem is. Once you start your project you should be asked automatically which content project you want to use (defaulting to your application name). If that does not happen for you you can either set it yourself in the Settings.xml (see node Service->ContentProject) or just delete the whole Settings.xml file (or at least the Service node) to be asked again.

Don't know what I was doing wrong but it's working now! Do you have to wait a few seconds for the content to be available?

Should usually go quickly, but for larger projects it can take some time (few seconds). We don't have many optimizations in place yet, so everything gets transmitted, this will go faster in the future.
