I haven't tried too much yet, so I'm sorry. But your platforms pags says, W8 is not supported yet, but milestone 6 is already released.

So in a current application for Windows 8, I just need to draw up to a few thousands ellipses and lines, but I'm not familiar with C++ and DirectX. My question is, is it possible and what do I have to do? With Nuget I saw like 7 different packages, but I did not want to mess up my project with trying all of them.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Matt,

we are currently not providing our platform build services until our beta is over (till early next year). The release of last year still works and allows to produce 2D apps on Windows, Android or Html.

Windows 8 is one of the easiest platforms to port for when you have C# code. You could use the DeltaEngine.SharpDX package and then try to compile it for Windows 8 yourself. Still will be some work involved, which depends on how much platform incompatible code you are using.

Alternatively you could also just grab a SharpDX Windows 8 sample project and put your code into it. If your app is that simple, it is probably the easiest approach right now.
