Embedding the Delta Engine into an existing Windows 8 app

Hello,
Using a basic license, would it be possible to embed the Delta Engine into an existing Windows 8 app? I already have some Windows 8 games up and running using MonoGame, but must admit being hooked on the graphics API and Entity Systems implementation available in the Delta Engine.
If so, has anyone already implemented a basic proof of concept or something alike?
Thanks in advance and greetings from the Netherlands,

Well as long as you have a license you are free to use the Engine or converted code or apps in any way on any platform as you like. The only restriction we make is that the free Delta Engine version can only be used on PC.
Probably your main problem will be that a lot of code will not work out of the box on Windows 8, this is why we have our build service converters (called through the AppBuilder of the Editor) to make sure all code runs on the target platform.
Maybe you can try to get it working and then ask specific questions if something does not work out. Using MonoGame with DeltaEngine on Windows should yield to a very similar code base on what you have already. I guess the main problem will be unsupported framework calls and external libraries that do not work or are painfully to work with (e.g. Autofac or Unit testing).
