Hey guys, I just wondered what's about WP7/8. As far as I can see we already have the launcher and its builder plugin but how far is it useable? And for the other plugins, i don't know if they are also useable and how we have to use it (at least the project creator is a bit unknown for me, but that's OT) It would be nice if you can give me a bit more informations about WP7/8 status because I want to test my tile engine (see my other thread) also on WP to see how it looks like and what problems exist
Thank you already for you answer |

Actually Windows Phone support is working and since the Launcher is now released it should be available for testing (at least to everyone that has a powerful enough account). Sadly there are some bugs preventing the Launcher to start with building stuff and they guy working on this is on holiday this week, so work will continue next week (next release after this one). Gotta wait till v0.9.8.4.
Hope this helps.

Ok, then I hope the best until next week :) I'm very interested in WP7/8 but I'm also patient enough to wait, it will come sooner or later so it doesn't make sense to force the devs. Thanks for the answer anyway, let's wait together :)
Is there maybe a little preview already available so we can maybe already see first impressions? |

Will WP7 work as well or only WP8? I have seen Soulcraft in the store but its listed as WP8 game. Or is Soulcraft still based on the old engine code? WP7 & 8 return 404 here: http://deltaengine.net/features/frameworksupportEdited by user Friday, September 27, 2013 10:34:08 PM(UTC)

Actually we have completed and updated our Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7 support last week and will integrate it during October into our new build pipeline (this means Android, Html5, Windows, Windows8, Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 should all be ready to use with all of our new 2D and 3D features by the end of Milestone 5). Keep in mind we are still heavily improving both the engine and tools. Till the end of this year all the major features should be solid (Animations, 3D Models, Particles, Levels, etc.), then we have more time to focus on helping everyone to make great games easily Thanks for noting the issues on the framework support page. I will update it shortly and also provide some more information on when things are available for public use. For beta testing just write me a PM and we can include you. All paying users can also use the latest features if they wish to try them out (obviously still unstable, but we will spend some time to make sure it gets better for each paying user usecase).

http://deltaengine.net/features/frameworksupport has been updated now and the Windows Phone site is available again. Detailed information will follow at the end of Milestone 5.

Ok, sounds great. I will do some testing probably towards the end of the year when the update is integrated.

Hi,
any news on the Windows Phone 7/8 yet? Still no support in the latest build. And I also checked the license site, and there are nothing Windows Phone related too, yet?
